For the first time in my voting life, I actually voted for someone/thing that won: Governor - nope, Right to Work - nope, Mayor - nope, Senator - nope. Finally, though, (from KWTV) "With all precincts reporting, the Oklahoma County Election Board counted 1,928 votes for Marrs, or 68.9 percent, and 872 votes for his opponent, Richard Buchanan, or 31.1 percent of the vote." Though it struck me as a little odd that exactly 2800 people voted, that fact makes me feel pretty good about my chances should I ever run for local office. I'm pretty sure that my politics would probably prevent me from attaining anything above local or maybe state-level importance, but I think it's possible that I could want to run for something here in a few years.
Patrick has a Yahoo Personals account and the other day he and I were entertaining ourselves by looking at some of the fly honeys. I realized that honestly, I am most attracted to womyn that use proper grammar and spelling. Even the hottest girls were disdained for improper selection of "its" vs. "it's" and "accept" vs. "except." The sexiest thing a womun can do is to use a semicolon correctly. I'm such a nerd.
I put on my robe and wizard hat.
