William's First Epistle to the Parisians
Dear Paris,
Stairs suck. Quit having so many. Also, deal with puddles. There are too many when it rains.
Otherwise, thank you for what was quite possibly the best trip I've ever had.
Love,
Billy

I find it odd that Cait Sith is Scottish
are you kidding me?
it takes you 20 days to type 35 words? now, i'm no rocket scientist but i'm pretty sure that averages out to be 1.75 words per day (i used all mine and yukiko's didgits to figure out that one)
on to my post,
ok, i have accounted for all the packages. billy has my present and i have jessiki/patty/cbrodt/bil1337's. gumby called me and told me the terms of getting our gifts. we all have to gather together and have dinner and exchange gifts. if one of us does not show, then that person's gift gets pawned (profits go to the doug foundation). i have seen all the gifts except for my own, and i can easily say that all of you will love them. so, get in contact with myself or billy to set up a time before the holiday season gets too hectic (hopefully this or next weekend). i refuse to track you down and give you your gift.
saturday (tomorrow) should be lots of fun. i plan on attending services as usual and hope to see you all there. kickoff is at 7pm so it should be completely packed and will be hard finding tables and such. call me if you want a seat and i'll see what i can do.
last night at 8:30, i decided that i wanted to watch advent children. i'm not sure what would make me want that movie so badly that i would risk getting stuck in a blizzard. we drove by hastings and they were closed. then we tried super target on the north side. as we were pulling into the target parking lot i got high-centered on an 18 inch snow drift. took me 45 minutes (and a good samaritain with a truck and a rope) to get out. i proceded to weave my way around the various snow drifts in the parking lot and finally got parked. we went inside and got a few of the necessities (hot cocoa, ittybitty marshmallows, tomato paste, etc...). before we left we checked the movie aisle and we were about to decide whether to get the remake of the omen or the remake of the hills have eyes, and what catches my eye...? advent children is now mine. for all you kids that aren't into video games or atleast the final fantasy series, go check it out. its pretty much a bunch of fight scenes chained together with 1-2 minute dialogues that quickly progress the plot. the very beginning of the movie also has the shortest, clearest, and best synopsis that i have ever heard for ffvii.
now thats a friggin post if i've ever seen one,

matt,
we have a time set for your christmas party. we will meet at toto's at 7pm this saturday, then retire to cbrodt's place to open presents under his yggdrasil or ragnarok tree (look it up on wikipedia, its a much more frightening apocalypse than any others).

Doug-
You fervor in organizing are noteworthy and appreciated. You're like a crusader, but for the cause of GOOD.
I hope everyone enjoys. And Billy- post. 35 words in 32 days? You're almost to the dreaded 1:1 ratio. And you don't want to be there, Billy. Because no one wants to be there. It's a bad place.
So just post, and no one gets hurt, okay?

zomg plans are changing zomg!
it seems as if jessiki is unable to meet with us on the predefined date. i think we're looking at sunday night for getting together at toto's then going back to cbrodt's to exchange gifts.

Billy warned me via AIM, thank you though my old friend.

P.S.- Please kick Billy. Not out of spite; he is simply broken and unable to update his blog, and if I've learned anything as a mechanic, it's that a good kick will fix almost anything.

sorry to say, i have yet to kick billy since we played darts that one time at edna's.
the christmas party we held in matt's honor was a roaring success. food and beer at toto's; cookies, opening presents, and beer at cbrodt's; guitar hero ii and more beer at cbrodt's. we all won.
side note: all of those guitar hero/dance dance nonsense games seem to stem from one game... simon. i was never a big fan of simon, as most games seem to get more fun and more difficult, the various simon releases just get difficult.
this is why i'm sure my gifts were much better than cbrodt's, eventhough i forgot them that night and had to come back. now i've forgotten my coat over there and i'll have to go back to get it. i wonder what i'll forget next time...?
oh, and while i was retrieving my sweet flask/book/cd i watched cbrodt beat simon xiv (for that is what it shall be called, now and forever) on medium mode and he got to play freebird with the big fat german dude while he was at stonehenge. it was pretty intense.
this weekend i will have to make a trip up to edmond and then to dallas then back to norman. it will be long and tiring. pray for me.
well, gotta get back to the grind
