Blue Devilry from a satellite
Short update. Right now I'm very mad at Fox Pay Per View's coverage of the OU-Middle Tennessee game. If we are already paying $30 a set to watch the game, why should I have to be subjected to the same tired car-lot and pharmaceutical commercials I get when watching over the air? I'm doubly mad that an ad for Car-Max pre-empted coverage of the opening kickoff. There was no chant, no opening hymn to my Saturday Service. Luckily, I'm still coming down after last week's fiasco, so this ought to be a bit easier.
Otherwise, I'm very comfortable living in the buffer area where bad decisions give you immediate benefit, but before consequences must be faced. Will the other shoe fall? Probably, but not today. We'll see what the rest of the debate season holds.

saturday services will commence at around 10:00 am at my appt if anyone is interested. i know that billy, patty, matt, and myself will be there, and if we all meet at my place at 10:00 we can meet then walk over to the vista before 11:00 am, which will give us the ability to get a table within 4 feet of 3 bigscreens.
if anyone wants to show up late and expect to have a seat then they should tell either myself or billy and we will be sure to save seats.

1. matt gets deployed next week, and this will be the last time to see him for a very long time.

3. they have $7 (big) pitchers of shiner.

i feel a little bad about having adam palmer call him today (but not that bad). karma being what it is, t-mobile decided to not work in the resteraunt in which i was eating, so i could not recieve his phonecall durring lunch. i also, of my own volition, called megan geneva murray to make sure that adam called matt today and i figured that made us even, but the cosmos decided otherwise.

if anyone would like to attend saturday services, they will start at 11:00 am sharp at the vista, being that kickoff commences at 11:30. if anyone wants to come, they will be welcome (supposing that i don't hate them).
the game is in town and is a morning game so i'm guessing that the vista will be rather vacant and won't be as hard to find a seat. i assume that someone will have coverage of the game, so i figure that we'll be able to see it best at any bar (as long as it is in stumbling distance to my appt). billy and i have discussed services for this week and he is projected to be there, but i'm not sure about anyone else. last week's crowd that rolled out was awesome and probably won't be matched this season, or atleast till matt gets home.
so, to everyone that showed up last week: easier game, at home, $4.50 pitchers of shiner, doug WILL be drunk. all of these things are awesome as everyone knows. i expect all of you to be there (i'm looking directly at you jessiki and ms. new)
