Born with roses in her eyes
First off, a generous set of what the hip kids get from a shortening of "propers" to Tanner for getting a perfect 180 on his LSAT. This puts him in league with ~30 people per year from the US that get such a score. People like this guy, who, along with helping out at-risk high schoolers, proves that journalists at UT cannot do math. "Less than a tenth of the people who take the test every year get a perfect score..." Really? Shocker.
Also in shocking, though much more somber news, Dave Campbell passed away just before Christmas. The funeral was nice, I guess, though the get-together later that night was something I get the feeling he would have enjoyed much more. Despite not getting to know him as well as I now wish I had, I do know that he'll be very much missed. DC 42.
Mr. Pibb and Red Vines equals Crazy Delicious.
Did everyone have a festive Santamas? I had about the best one-horse-open-time ever with the combined Anderson and Zaya families driving about and caroling our little hearts out. There was much holiday cheer, cider, and fa-la-la-la-laughter to go around. Yay for family time, and yay for advances in ground-based radar. "With so many years of experience, NORAD has become good at tracking aircraft entering North America, detecting worldwide missile launches and tracking the progress of Santa, thanks to Rudolph."
I'm looking forward now to seeing in the new year as I saw in the last one: in a nice suit with some local friends and a drunken Queen sing-a-long.
<merl>: So I suppose you're going to change the world, huh? Make it a pure Utopia with no war
<merl>: hunger or pain?
<lyndak>: I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
