The village green
This weekend has been a nice slow one. Friday night was spent 100% at Denny's, an activity that I haven't done in quite a while. Saturday was a bit more eventful, with lots of awesome time spent with Denise. We ran errands and got some delicious Chileno's. After weathering the freak Oklahoma storm eating funnel cake at the local IHOP and showing my new shorter hair to her parents, I joined Patrick and CB for a festive evening of hippie entertainment with Ambassador Bill. The show was pretty good, and I got to meet the library friend that Brodt has been jibber-jabbering about. I've spent the rest of the weekend resting on the couch.
Special Kitty has been adorable and sleepy all weekend.
God save Donald Duck, Vaudeville, and variety.

i miss dennys. we saw a wicked good show on thrusday. line up looked like (reverse order): thursday (OOO), were all broken (OOOverrated), and the blackout pact (OOOmygod the best hardcore band ive ever seen). heather and i both left feeling beaten up and bruised. "it was hardcore". im starting a new campaign next week sometime, were working for "Environmental Action" and their campaign to stop drilling in ANWR. that beats all the in round advocacy on earth. sweet me thinks. best wishes to all that im nostalgic about. i weep for you on the subway commute.
