A cloud, a lake, and the real thing
The weekend was awfully good. I began with a trip to the Electro Lounge with the pleasantly more common Brian Campbell to speak as men do, and try to beckon to the seasonably attractive womyn there. After B.C. went home, I was able to convince Brodt to have himself a bar experience with me. All turned out quite well, especially when Brodt knew a young man who was also an acquaintance of the aforementioned girls. We chatted a bit with Amy and Jennifer, and had a pretty good time. I still maintain that good grammar is the most attractive quality. The next morning, I had to wake up decently early as the wedding (previously mentioned) of Jana and Kasey was at 2 and I had yet to get my gift. Target was helpful as it often is in these kinds of situations, and I did not have to show up with my empty hands betraying my lameness. It was a lovely event, and I can say that the bride and her maids were the example of that loveliness in what is apparently the classy black and white look. I guess my mother was just ahead of her time with her choice of palate at my wedding. Revelry and darts followed at what used to be Lumpy's in Edmond. Doug and I chitchatted, made fun of David Galoob, and cheated at darts. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Belly dancers, I have decided, come in a ratio of 1 to 7.
I got to spend some wonderful time with Lori on Monday, and we discovered that not only have Pop Rocks stayed on the shelf at your local Seven and Eleven, but also they have devised a little home experiment kit that lets your little, or not so little, ones make up a foaming, popping mess on the kitchen table. It was a great deal of entertainment.
Also in the litany of great people I've been missing all summer, Denise and I got together for some Johnny Carino's fun and gossip. I've sure missed her. The only problem was that I awoke Tuesday morning with an aching tummy and the taste of bacon in my mouth. I ended up spending the rest of the day out of commission.
My condolences to Matt on his troubling dreams. I know they come to me all too often.
Also yesterday night, I took it upon myself to upgrade to the latest and greatest versions of Apache, PHP, and the IMAP software I use. Horray for small maintenance.

What was the last thing you saw that looked like a bunny?
