That's an awfully young giraffe
The weekend went pretty well. I spent the fist part of Saturday moving Brodt and the McGuff to their new townhouse in Norman. As per usual, I was proud of what all a good sized sedan can get from one part of Norman to another. I had to duck out a bit earlier than my helpfulness wanted to, as I there was bachelor celebration/mourning that needed to take place. A group of us took Bricktown by storm. I found out that the Mickey Mantle Steakhouse has one of the best New York strip steaks I've ever gotten to mix with mushrooms. My thanks to Steven Foster for giving me someone to talk about debate with after having a few too many tasty French beers. I only hope I didn't make too big a fool of myself in front of the Ada kids.
Neisy comes home tomorrow! Yay!
The debate travel schedule is looking fun. There is a pretty good chance that I'm starting out the year debating with a guy named Nick Shirley from Louisiana. He seems like a pretty smart kid, and someone who will work really hard (probably lots harder than I will in the next 3 weeks). My only fear is that his concept of "traditional debating" is going to be even more to the right than where I and the aforementioned Mr. Foster enjoy our fence-straddled stance between OU and not-OU styles.
This week's freakout is the dentist. I have an appointment on Thursday and am dreading it, as any good American does.
Evil people deny Time Cube.

I don't know what you are talking about...I love the dentist. Good Americans and good people love the dentist. Silly Billy.

Man, I can believe you found that thread. We tried to keep that thing alive for as long as possible...we even had plans to post in college, but it got removed. See how committed I was back then...I thought Jackie was a woman.
