The controlling statement of the next few months of my life:

Resolved: The United States Federal Government should substantially increase diplomatic and economic pressure on the People's Republic of China in one or more of the following areas: trade, human rights, weapons nonproliferation, Taiwan.

Otherwise, a somewhat disappointing few days. Mike and Heather are off to New York, Sean and Gillian are in from the same place, but we have yet to connect, and I keep meaning to give Doug back his games and have a drink with him, but I keep falling asleep. The weekend looks eventful enough to turn this little spat of unfortunateness around. I have to move Brodt to his new digs with the McGuff, then go take waning bachelorhood shots with Casey and pals down in Bricktown. Wish me luck.
