I belong in the service of the Queen
Anyone up for some brownies? Seriously, this is the cutest thing I've seen since the picture of Issiah and a little African baby.
Many years ago, when I was a paper jockey for a certain defunct organization of doctors I was required to sort stacks of several hundred sheets of paper into numeric order by patient ID. Calling upon some computer science, I used a divide and conquer strategy (basically mergesort) to sort the papers into smaller piles that could be much easier sorted by my clumsy, non-pointer-referencing ape hands. The second most important optimization to the little algorithm was the introduction of a rubber band wrapped around my right thumb, allowing me to fling papers into the proper piles with an easy flick of my wrist, instead of having to try to grab each piece of paper individually. The office had a number of little rubber doohickeys that were supposed to fulfill that need, but none seemed to work as well as a well wrapped rubber band. For that reason, I place rubber bands behind only pens and paper clips in my hierarchy of sweet sweet office supply love.
I've never put Bailey's into my coffee. I, on recommendation from my grandfather, toss a bit of bourbon in there. It makes the day a little easier.
Last week I got quite the hankerin' for a trip to the driving range. Two days ago I bought myself a driver on the cheap and a bag of tees and headed out. I now have a blister on my hand and a slice, both of which are getting slowly better. Late afternoon breeze coming off of the lake and the smell of a well manicured lawn are just intoxicating. It's definitely the best $5/hour hobby I've found since Denny's.
Purell hand sanitizer is really smelly. I prefer the Germ-X brand. It's pretty smelly too, but not quite as pungent.
I'm blaming it on the bossa nova.

Thanks for the compliment. :-)
At some point I am going to make some banana bread. Maybe I should create a new category for my blog: food with cute figurines.
