For Cinco de Mayo we celebrated the historic Battle of Puebla by gulping down heroic amounts of Mexican beer and tequila. Viva!

Yesterday's "golf ball sized" bubble ended up being almost exactly Twinkie sized and shaped bubble in my back passenger tire from where I got a little snug with a corner in Edmond over the weekend. Nobody's fault but my own. Sadly, that trip to Hibdon's took out the discretionary funding until next Thursday. Happily, I can afford a tire at all. Compare with last year's rubber struggle. (That's fun to say!)

Chris has indicated that the Dale Earnhardt Avengers will be playing yet another show here in the near future. The last one was darn near a year ago, as were several other things.

This weekend should be another quite one as next week is finals week. Next weekend will be a hoot.

I'm looking in on the good life I might be doomed never to find.
