I must have missed the kickoff
Spent a lovely evening down in Norman with Sandra and company and got to enjoy my first experience with Pita Pit, thanks to Ryleigh. It's apparently the new hotness on campus with its hours rivaling even places that shuttle pizzas and its generally tasty fare. Even though I'm not generally a fan of pitas, this might have to become a more common occurrence.
Seriously. How are you going to advertise pitas with cartoons like those? Is the chicken running against Nixon? Is the bacon a little angsty? I'm really not comfortable with what the mustard is up to.
Yesterday I spent some time with Patrick and one of his seeming litany of proteges. It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one that has had to deal with insane girls and the depression that seems to flow from just about all mid-teen infatuations. Girls. Probably not worth it now either. Later that morning a group of four of us strapping gents in our dark clothes and at least one leather jacket were walking down Robinson and about 30th making up pirate jokes. It would have been both thuggish and ruggish if it wasn't so laughable.
In tech news, I'm recompiling the linux kernel on the primary server to include support for reading NTFS so I can access all my old music and copies of Gundam Wing. Combining the versatility of Linux with the awesomeness of Trowa Barton. I might not leave the house for a week.
Don't depend on me to ever follow through on anything but I'd go through hell for you...

Thank you kindly for coming to my Pity Party. After I get a job and clean my apartment (which is still in shambles from both the Pot Luck and the Pity Party), I'm going to have a series of dinner parties, because I'm a scary soccer mom.
