A kink has arisen in the now apparently annual plan to hit up Nawlins over Memorial Day weekend. It seems that the propriators of the New Orleans Grand Palace have decided to give up the ghost so to speak, and have removed that hotel from all online booking sites...and the phone book. We'll just have to find some other sketchy sounding hotel under an interstate. The somewhat bigger problem will be making this affordable for all who are attending this year. Stupid capital yet again screwing with me. Oh well, something will work itself out. It always does.

Some ideas for those looking to get a little quick cash even though they have bills:

1. Just tell your bill collectors that you're poor and your old blind grandmother needs her medicine. Never-they-mind that gramma's medicine comes in wax-sealed bottles with a maker's mark on them.
2. Don't worry about it now, and let the government help you with their own savings plan. "Wage Garnishment"
