So we transferred sovereignty to Iraq 2 days ahead of schedule. Besides jumping for joy that we've decided to become the Papa John's Pizza of the pseudo-colonial world with our surprisingly early delivery, I actually am rather pleased that there is now at least ceremonial ground for NATO to start training, and the UN to bring in more of its business. Can't get too excited, though, with the news that we're apparently staying in de fact control (Mao sez "Power flows from the end of a gun") long enough to need to call up another 5000 or so Reservists that thought they had retired.

Mike pointed out a pretty cool site that tracks brand owners and consolidated companies. Kind of interesting to see what all is owned by only one or two different interests.
