Guns not butter
Not having access to reliable transportation is really annoying as it prevents me from hanging out with people. Since I hate disappointing people on the phone, I start ignoring more and more people who call when I can't go see them. More vicious cycles.
Next week is the biggest gun show in Oklahoma City, and besides making for incredible people watching (hicks are funny) it provides a great opportunity for guys to bond around newly acquired, probably legal knives. Yes, gun/knife/bullet control is one of those things that makes me a bad liberal. I'm far too much in favor of individual liberty as far as what can be owned and used in various circumstances and the necessary evils that that particular view creates to argue for wholesale mandatory disarmament. I'm against gun control for the same reasons I'm for drug legalization: certainly not for personal desire, but for moral belief that the proletariat knows what it's doing. Plus, when the revolution comes, the more guns the better... ;)
Cale is in Salt Lake City, and wants help with his LD cases. I wonder if he realizes I really don't know what a "value criterion" is.
I'm screaming at the top of my lungs pretending the echoes belong to someone I used to know.
