Because Civilization should be free
Civilization is the shared moniker for a set of games that have been trapping my attention for the last few days. Patrick had been playing Civ II on his laptop at my apartment, and I started to feel kind of envious. After seeing in one of Tanner's away messages that he too has been spending lots of time playing, I downloaded FreeCiv (long live open source) and have engrossed myself in it. There's something sort of empowering about seeing Polish howitzers take out a group of Singaporean musketeers. Empowering and very addicting.
I dreamed the other night that Blake and I were debating in a posh hotel conference room, but that we were disqualified after he took 45 minutes for the first speech without realizing it. I read some of my notes before I made fun of one of my competitors. Last night I dreamt that my brother and I went to one of the sketchy little discount sales at the fairgrounds. There were a pack of high school girls with messages written to me on their shirts. In both of them I could read with no problems.
I want so badly to believe that there is truth and love is real.

A couple years ago I used to dream very weird, debate oriented dreams. 2AC responses would just come to me in these elaborate rounds that I constructed. Meagan (along with my mother and everyone else on Stillwater's squad) thought I was INSANE! It was fun, ah, to be young and dedicated! -Jen
