Back from New Orleans, and I'm still kind of sick. The full highlights reel is taking me a while, and I'm trying to focus on stuff at work, so it'll be posted in a day or so.
Patty has been staying over at my apartment for quite a while, and I am really enjoying the company, not to mention the ride to work in the morning. I've walked more in the past week that I have in a really long time, between wandering around New Orleans, the 1/2 mile or so back and forth between the hotel and Rue Bourbon. Add to that the 2 miles I walk home every day, since my car is in escrow until stuff gets worked out there.
I read the entire book The Outsiders yesterday night. It's not particularly long, and the last time I read it was in 8th grade. It's really really good, and has me wanting to sit back and watch some movies with James Dean.
