Second Goldstar to the right...
I have a Samsung N400. Things I like about my phone:
Things I don't like about my phone:
The reason I can complain like this is because these are all features that the really cheap phone made by Lucky Goldstar that I had before this one sported. Besides, beyond my like for their phones, "Lucky Goldstar" is the best cheap-o brand name ever.
I like my coffee like I like my womyn - tied up in a burlap sack and dragged across the Andes on the back of a donkey.
- It's in color
- It has a flip that doesn't cover up the screen
- J2ME
- Good clarity, but I think that's more a Sprint thing
- Changable background picture and text
- It's a generally good phone: doesn't break when I drop it, doesn't crash very often, fits well in my hand and pocket.
- Separate camera means I don't have to worry about breaking a lens, but still get all the fun camera features
- Just pushing "Talk" lets me see the call history, so "Talk"+"Talk" lets me redial the last number I called
- I can surf the web without having to open the flip
Things I don't like about my phone:
- The alarm clock doesn't come with a snooze
- The call history doesn't have info on the duration of the call
- The phone book keeps track of emails, but I can't click on it and send an email message the way I can click on a phone number to call it.
- In the call history, there's no way to jump to the entry for someone who called me
- If I call someone using my phone book, and they aren't at their primary number, there's no easy way to go back and pick a different number from their entry. I have to go all the way back through the phone book.
- I have to open the flippy if I want to do anything that involves talking.
- I can't set an alarm to remind me to call a certain entry in my phone book.
The reason I can complain like this is because these are all features that the really cheap phone made by Lucky Goldstar that I had before this one sported. Besides, beyond my like for their phones, "Lucky Goldstar" is the best cheap-o brand name ever.
