Alright. I'm going to assume that you, the reader, are at least reasonably aware of all the drama that has gone on between August and now. If not, here's the short version:
Rosie was sleeping with Nathan. She came back, and asked for my forgiveness and to work on the marriage. She swears that she wants counseling and is willing to talk to a psychiatrist, and knows that what she did is wrong, etc. I (grumble) accepted. I told her that if we planned carefully and were frugal, we could live pretty well off of just my salary and the student loans. My condition was that we were frugal and that she stay occupied if not employed. So she started assistant coaching for Memorial, and became really close to her students. All too quickly, that became too close. She started making rules about me not being allowed to go and hang out with her and her kids after school. That also marked the end of the frugality on her part. That's about when I started getting concerned. The administration too. Once they found out that she was buying alcohol for them, she was canned. Come to find out later that she had also been sleeping with one of her students too, starting at one of the debate tournaments she helped coach at. That was mid October, and we swiftly were running out of money. In order to start paying for her stuff, she started writing bad checks. I had stopped even hoping that the things she had promised me just a month earlier would ever pan out. So November comes with more of the same, but more explicit. She stays out all night, sneaks her kids out at all hours, and even gets her little boyfriend arrested when he lies to the cops about his identity (he says that he is me) at 3am. But with more secret conversations, and hurried deleting of text messages, I'm about done. On Nov 30, we have a conversation that ends with me suggesting that she just move out. Her relationship with the 17 year old continues through December, despite telling me that she's thinking about trying to work things out with me. At the end of January, she finally stops lying and tells me for the first time that she really is having a second affair. Now comes the fascinating part where I try to piece my life back together.
I'll assume that you can pick the rest up through context, or feel free to email me with questions.
More as it develops.
